Louise Claringbould BHSAI

Louise opened the owl house as a commercial riding establishment 20 years ago. Over the years she has expanded the stables to become a BHS approved riding school and now has 25 horses and ponies to suit all ages and abilities. She is also heavily involved in the pony club and the owl house has become a pony club centre, this enables children to achieve internationally recognised badges and improve their riding skills.

Louise's daughter Rachel recently joined the team after working on many yards around the UK including working with event horses, racehorses, polo ponies, breeding, youngstock and sales yards. This has given her a good all round understanding of horses and how to run a stables. She has also competed all over the country in showjumping and eventing. Rachel has passed her stage 3 exam and is working towards her stage 4 and other exams. She is currently concentrating on teaching, sales, retraining racehorses and starting competing again.
